Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer

In Photoshop we simply refer to it as the Hue Saturation tool, but it’s also referrred to as the Hue, Saturation and Lightness tool.  In Lightroom, it’s the HSL tool.

One of the coolest tools in your Photoshop toolbox.  It’s one of those tools that is so much fun to play with… and once you’ve mastered it, you can use it in ways you would not believe.

Hue means colour, so you can change colours from one to another.  Saturation is about how intense that colour is… and finally Lightness controls how bright or dark the colour is.
