    Hi Kevin
My sincere and heartfelt thoughts go out you and your family. Loving the Photoshop Blogs which have made me realise how much more I need to learn in Photoshop. They have kept me going with my interests while I too am going through my recovery after Blood Cancer treatment and a bone marrow transplant. You sound so positive in your ways and that is the key to recovery.
Take care and look forward to eventually meeting very soon on a course to get all my bad habits blown away.
    All the very best
    Richard

Bless you Richard, thank you for your kind words. I’m so pleased you’ve found the Photoshop tutorials helpful. I hope your recovery is a speedy one, it sounds like you’ve had a tough time.

Kevin, I follow your videos and tutorials as much as my lifestyle permits! I have particularly been enjoying the 30 days of photoshop!!!

I have also spoken with you on the telephone in the past and despite being local to you (I’m in farnborough), I wish I could get to one of your workshops!!!

Wishing you a well rested week, a speedy recovery and a tipple to a return to full health ASAP!!!

Looking forward to seeing your videos once again (and hopefully a visit to Fleet sooner than later!)

Thank you for all you do!

    Kindest regards,
    Karen Dodds

    Hi Kevin,

Apologies for this late note. Due to restriction of data on my net connection, I download your lessons and view them when ever possible. I only viewed your message a short whole ago and sad that I couldn’t write sooner.

I have been using PS for a while and most of what I know or do is self taught or from YouTube. I found your lesson very easy to follow and loved the humor and your manner of explaining the many tools that sometimes get a bit confusing.

I am so sad to hear that you, like me are battling that rouge and horrible thief named cancer. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and have gone through all the treatment and a Stem Cell transplant in 2010. Now I am back to live a normal life and enjoying the daily Blessings that life provides, one of which is photography and all the edits that come with it.

Unless you mention it, no one would have ever thought you were under treatment; and given your high spirits and joyful manner, I am sure you will be feeling much better after the treatment is done. Yes, you need to rest and take it slow at times, specially after treatment as the body needs the rest to adjust.

I pray for your speedy recovery and strength for your family, and know your great attitude would get you through this bit of rocky road before long.

God’s Glorious Blessings be with you!

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement.

Having cancer during a global pandemic forced me into self-isolation. This has turned out to be a real blessing.

Stuck at home with time on my hands, I have been able to work on the 30 Days of Photoshop. My goal was to help introduce people to what can be a very complicated editing tool. So often when I run a workshop, there are photographers there who don’t even know Photoshop basics. This 30 Day series should help address this.

I glad to hear that you are now able to live a normal live (post cancer)… and I’m even more delighted to see that photography plays a big part in it.

      Kevin

Thanks for your reply. Yes, been in isolation and in my case a lockdown has given us time to spend on stuff that doesn’t always make it on to the priority list 😁.

Would love if only possible and is not too tiring to you, if you could do a similar introductory course on Lightroom, as I feel that many find it difficult to understand (I use it a bit but don’t know what’s going on most of the time) 😳.

But the main thing is to stay positive as much as possible and appreciate each day.

Thanks again for your time that’s really appreciated.

        Warm regards,
        Johann Schokman
